The entire family enjoyed themselves! We were comfortable in the condo and had easy access to all of the resort amenities. The view of the golf course and mountains from the front porch is beautiful. We will definitely be back!

We love Rumbling Bald and always stay in the Apple Valley Villas when we are there to golf since they are the most affordable option that includes resort amenities. This one was a newer listing and we thought we’d take a chance on it since the rate was good. Pros: Location is probably the best of all the villas (#4). Cleanest one we’ve stayed in as well! Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. Coffee maker has both K-cup and filter type. Property manager answered phone directly and was very helpful. Cons: the resort pool and hot tub was closed for maintenance which we were bummed about since we like to use those after a day of golfing. Will rent this one again!

The location to the resort and all the activities included resort access were amazing. It felt like summer camp for the whole family! For families, it's important to note that there isn't really a convenient place to dine (although the weather was nice so we used the porch a lot) and the apartment is wide open (including the bathroom vanity/sink). The kitchen was sparsely populated with dishes, etc. Most noteworthy, it was the least seamless check-in I've experienced. There is no cell access and the unit number was not clearly presented across the check-in materials so we had borrow a neighbor's phone to call the host to get this info. Then the keypad was not functional so we had to drive to a place with service to get in contact with the host again.
