I stayed at Inspired Gateway’s Lake Lure condo for the weekend and it was a cute peaceful place. The accessibility of the resort amenities nearby was nice. I did have an issue with the electronic key box so I had to place my things in my car for most of one of my days there. The response time was delayed which may have been a cell reception issue, but when they did respond it was helpful (there was a physical key in a lock box). Lake Lure is beautiful and again only a 5 min drive away to the lake and other resort amenities. Also, lots of hiking options nearby. The home was clean and matched the photos. I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend getaway. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the photos give the impression that the lake entrance/resort amenities are within walking distance. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay!

Great place. It's a brand new home in an under-construction community. The construction process never caused any inconvenience throughout our stay.

As I am also an airbnb host, I notice more things than most guests. I appreciated the the furnishings and accessories whose quality and thoughtful touches (hallway nightlight, coffee press, lots of streaming entertainment options, the right amount of pictures & wall hangings) which were nicer than the majority of "investment" airbnbs. Since the home is brand new, everything is in perfect shape - the house, the furnishings, the towels, etc. And very clean. I appreciated that the listing correctly noted that the house resides in a new development and we should expect construction noise. We lucked out and the noise was minor but there are empty lots surrounding the house and I could image that some major construction in the future could be bothersome for those who plan to be there during the morning/day. We like to enjoy our mornings before heading out. We booked this home mainly due to the hot-tub as we are hikers and enjoy coming back to such a luxury. The jets were "weak" but we were still thrilled to enjoy the warm waters. The posting should note that the hot-tub is a 2-person tub. 4 friends will need to "take turns". It is not at all private - the houses are very close and there are no trees/landscaping that separates them. You can hear every spoken word from the 2 houses behind this one. Again, we lucked out - of our 5 night stay, 3 we had no neighbors. And the other 2 days (girl's bachelorette party) we simply "adjusted to the noise". We absolutely would stay here again. It is one of the very few 5-star airbnbs I have stayed in. But will be checking with the host to understand construction in the area because we like spending time in our airbnb. And only 2 of us; I would feel crowded inside and out, with another couple. If you plan to simply sleep there (or are a family), this is a great find for 4 guests! Book it!
